Rahul Gandhi Embarks on Three-Day Visit to Wayanad

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is set to embark on a three-day visit to Wayanad, commencing today. The Wayanad parliamentary constituency, covering three districts – Wayanad, Kozhikode, and Malappuram, will be the focal point of his visit. Rahul Gandhi is scheduled to participate in a range of events and functions across these districts.

In Kozhikode, one of the key highlights of his itinerary includes attending a book release event featuring the speeches of the late P Seethi Haji. Furthermore, Rahul Gandhi will engage in various programs in Nilambur on Wednesday.

On Thursday, the Congress leader is expected to inaugurate the new block of Iqraa Hospital in Sulthan Bathery and participate in a review meeting on the National Highway expansion project at the Civil Station in Kalpetta. He will also be involved in the flagging off of three ambulances, funded through his MP fund, for the Government Medical College Hospital in Mananthavady. In the evening, floral tributes will be paid at the Pazhassi Memorial in Mananthavady.

The following day, Friday, Rahul Gandhi will present the inaugural Priyadarshini Literary Award to writer T. Padmanabhan in Kannur. Additionally, he will inaugurate the Mahila Congress state convention at Marine Drive in Kochi.

Rahul Gandhi’s visit is expected to encompass a diverse range of activities, from healthcare initiatives to literary awards, reflecting his engagement with various facets of the community.
