Adding and deleting names from ration cards is no longer a herculean task. Adults can apply online or in person at Akshaya centres. Those who are relocating for work can take advantage of this benefit. There is no longer any need for cardholder consent to remove a name from an existing ration card.

The ‘citizen’ button should be clicked on the official website of the Department of Food and Public Distribution using /ecitizen.civilsupplieskerala.gov.in, and a citizen login ID and password should be created. This procedure necessitates the use of Aadhaar and ration card numbers. Then select the option to delete the name from the existing ration card.
