Why is Rita Shukla, Sidharth Shukla’s mother, so strong? What were the two most powerful words she uttered after his death?

Yesterday, late actor Sidharth Shukla’s mother Rita Shukla led a virtual prayer for his son, which was led by Brahmakumari Yogini Didi, and Sister Shivani bestowed her blessings on the departed soul. Sidharth Shukla died last week on September 2nd, Thursday, from a heart attack. And, yesterday, the Shukla family hosted a virtual prayer meeting on Zoom, inviting the actor’s fans and friends to participate.

Paras Chhabra, an actor, shared a short video clip featuring Brahma Kumari’s sister Shivani. Shivani, Sidharth’s sister, mentioned his mother in the video. โ€œRita aunty more power to you aur Ye sunne ke baad I got some power Thank you for this beautiful satsang #RIPsidharthshukla (sic),โ€ Paras captioned the video on Instagram.

Shivani claims that when she called the late actor’s mother, she simply said, “Om Shanti.”

During the Brahma Kumaris prayer meeting, Shivani said, “When I spoke to Rita aunty on September 2, she just said ‘Om Shanti.'” That ‘Om Shanti’ had a lot of power to it. I kept wondering where she got her strength. When I asked her how she was doing, she replied, “I only have one wish from the Almighty, that he be happy wherever he is.”

Yesterday, the Shukla family issued a statement thanking everyone for their support and requesting that fans and media respect the family’s privacy as they mourn Sidharth’s death.

โ€œHeartfelt gratitude to everyone who has been a part of Sidharth’s journey and showered him with unconditional love,โ€ the statement said. It doesn’t stop there because he is now permanently ensconced in our hearts! Sidharth valued his privacy, so we ask that you give our family the space they need to grieve (sic).โ€

Fans and social media users have been hailing Sidharth’s mother Rita Shukla as the strongest Maa by trending the hashtag ‘Shukriya Sidharth.’

During the prayer meeting, Brahmakumari Yogini Didi stated that Sidharth was a spiritual and religious follower of the Brahmakumaris, as was his mother.
She also stated that on Raksha Bandhan, Sidharth came to our Vile Parle centre and our Yoginiji tied rakhi on him after visiting the Brahmakumari centre to meet all the sisters.
