Apple has announced a September 14 event; here’s what we can expect to see
Apple has set September 14 as the date for the highly anticipated iPhone 13 and Apple Watch Series 7 announcements. The event will be entirely virtual, with a live webcast from Apple Park. “California streaming” is the tagline for Apple’s September presentation.
Apple’s September 14 event will begin at 10 a.m. PT/1 p.m. ET. Apple held their annual September event virtually for the second year in a row due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
On September 14, the event will be live-streamed on Apple’s website, YouTube channel, and the Apple TV app.

We anticipate that Apple will formally unveil the iPhone 13 at this year’s September Apple event. The next iPhone is expected to include a number of new features. Changes rumored include a smaller notch, improved cameras, ProMotion 120Hz display technology, and other features. On September 14, the Apple Watch Series 7 is also expected to be unveiled. The Apple Watch Series 7 is shaping up to be a significant upgrade, with an entirely new design and a massive touchscreen. Having said that, rumors suggest that Apple is having production issues, which could significantly limit availability.
According to reports, Apple is working on new AirPods, which could be unveiled at the September event. The AirPods 3 are expected to look similar to the AirPods Pro but will lack interchangeable ear tips. A new iPad mini and a low-cost iPad are also possible hardware announcements. Expect no new Macs to be announced at the September event, as Apple will most likely save those for a later event in October or November.
Finally, we anticipate that Apple will announce the official release dates for its next wave of software upgrades at the event. All versions of iOS 15, watchOS 8, and tvOS 15 are included. macOS Monterey, on the other hand, is not expected until later this fall.
