Consecration Ceremony for Ayodhya Ram Temple Set for January 22

The upcoming consecration ceremony for the Ayodhya Ram Temple, scheduled for January 22, will mark the installation of the primary idol of Rama Lalla (the boy Lord Rama) within the temple’s sanctum sanctorum. The Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Temple Trust plans to extend an invitation to the Prime Minister to attend this significant event, with the temple opening its doors to devotees starting from January 24.

Champat Rai, the General Secretary of the Ram Mandir Trust, revealed that a grand gathering of 25,000 Hindu religious leaders representing 136 Sanatana traditions will participate in the ceremony. Additionally, there will be 10,000 specially invited guests. The elaborate rituals and celebrations are set to span over a period of 10 days, commencing with Makar Sankranti on January 14.
