The government of Kerala has decided to reopen schools from November 1.
Standards X and XII will reopen from November 1. By November 15, all classes will start. The Covid review meeting chaired by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan took the decision.
They have already decided to reopen colleges and other higher education institutions from October 4. Final year degree and post-graduate classes will begin first.
Experts suggestes that primary classes should begin first. Health and education departments would finalise the modalities for reopening schools.
