Apple has released iOS 15 for iPhone users: Check out the features and more

Following the release of the iPhone 13 series, Cupertino-based tech behemoth Apple has released its most recent software, iOS 15 and iPadOS 15.

For users of the iPhone 6s and later, the new operating system includes features such as Focus Mode, Live Text, SharePlay, and others. Aside from that, iPad OS 15 will include home screen widgets for iPads, FaceTime updates, and other features.

FaceTime is similar to Zoom in that it now allows video call participants to be displayed in a grid view, and its main advantage will be the ability to add non-Apple users to FaceTime calls. Users can now create FaceTime links to share with others and invite them to a video chat.

Users who share links, images, and other content in Messages are featured in a new Shared with You section with the release of iOS 15.

iOS 15 includes an intriguing feature known as Live Text in Photos. Users will be able to copy numbers and text in a picture as well. Photos, screenshots, Safari, and the Camera app will all support live text.

In addition, Apple Maps has received new features that will allow users to view a variety of elevation data, road colors, and driving directions, as well as 3D landmarks and an improved night mode. Users can also save nearby public transportation stops and station information to their iPhone and Apple Watch devices, receiving automatic updates and notifications as they ride and approach the stop.

Spotlight is a new feature that provides users with more information at a glance by displaying new rich search results for artists, entertainers, TV shows, and movies, as well as your contacts.
