COVID-19: Kinnaur in Himachal Pradesh fully vaccinates its entire target population

New Delhi: Himachal Pradesh’s Kinnaur district has vaccinated its entire eligible population, according to news agency ANI on Thursday (October 14).

Kinnaur, according to the administration, is the first district in the country to vaccinate its entire eligible population. This accomplishment was accomplished on Wednesday.

“Kinnaur is the first district in the country to accomplish this feat.” “We met our goal of vaccinating everyone who was eligible,” Kinnaur DC Abid Hussain Sadiq said.

Earlier in August, the Himachal Pradesh government had announced that it has provided the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine to all above 18 years.

Meanwhile, according to Health Ministry data released on Thursday, India has administered a total of 96.82 crore COVID-19 vaccine doses as part of the nationwide vaccination drive. In the last 24 hours, approximately 35,66,347 vaccine doses were administered.
