Major Reshuffle in Kerala Police: 18 SPs Transferred, Kiran Narayan to Lead Thiruvananthapuram Rural

The Kerala Police witnessed a major reshuffle with the transfer of 18 police officers, including nine district police chiefs. Kiran Narayan, former principal of the Police Training College, has been appointed as the Thiruvananthapuram Rural Superintendent of Police (SP), succeeding D Shilpa, who has taken charge as the Kozhikode Rural SP.

Other notable transfers include Navneet Sharma, the former AIG (Policy), who is now serving as the Thrissur Rural SP, and S Sasidharan, the Deputy Commissioner of Kochi City, appointed as the Malappuram SP. Vaibhav Saxena, who held the position of Kasaragod SP, has assumed the role of Ernakulam Rural SP, while Vivek Kumar, the previous Ernakulam Rural SP, has been appointed as the Kollam City Police Commissioner.

P Bijoy, the Superintendent of Special Branch Thiruvananthapuram Range, is now the Kasaragod SP, and KM Sabu Mathew, the Crime Branch Ernakulam Superintendent, has been appointed as SP, Kollam Rural. The reshuffle also includes promotions, with TK Vishnu Pradeep, the Commandant of the 4th Armed Battalion, promoted to SP.

Merin Joseph, former Kollam City Police Commissioner, has taken charge as the Thiruvananthapuram Crime Branch Superintendent. Other appointments include Sujith Das as the Superintendent of the Special Operations Group, VU Kuriakose as the Principal of the Police Training College, and ML Sunil as SP, Thiruvananthapuram Range Special Branch. Aishwarya Dongre, the Thrissur Rural SP, has assumed the role of India Reserve Battalion Commandant, and KE Baiju, the Kozhikode City DCP, is now the RRRF Commandant, succeeding Anuj Paliwal, who has been appointed as the Deputy Commissioner of Kozhikode District.
