3 popular weight loss drinks that don’t work

Most people are concerned about their weight, and everyone wants to lose weight quickly. When it comes to quick weight loss, many people rely on popular drinks, believing that they will assist them in losing extra kilos. But, do these beverages actually work? Can something as simple as a drink help you lose weight? No, not at all.

A healthy and long-term weight loss is achieved through a combination of healthy eating and exercise. Simple tricks and tips, such as detoxifying waters and beverages, can only help the process. Here are three popular weight loss drinks that will not help you lose weight.
According to a recent post by Dr. Siddant Bhargava, “When will we stop looking for quick weight-loss hacks?” Three drinks are well-known for their ‘weight loss benefits,’ which are completely ineffective. “The only thing that will help you lose weight is to maintain a consistent calorie deficit.”

1. Apple cider vinegar

Apple cider vinegar has long been used as a weight-loss beverage. It has a variety of health benefits, including improving your heart health and lowering your risk of diabetes. However, when it comes to weight loss, ACV is ineffective.
ACV can make you feel fuller for longer, but it cannot change your BMI. In fact, many people’s consumption of it can cause acidity, digestive issues, and oral health problems. It can also interact with other drugs such as laxatives and insulin.

2. Green tea

Green tea is one of the most popular weight-loss beverages. Some people consume 3-4 cups, or even more, in the hopes of losing weight. Green tea truly is “health in a perfectly brewed cup.”
However, drinking a glass of green tea in the morning will not help you lose weight. Green tea can increase your metabolic rate, causing you to consume too much of it, which is dangerous.

3. Ginger, honey, and lemon water

A hot cup of ginger, honey, and lemon water is delicious and relaxing. People believe that drinking it on an empty stomach can help them lose weight. That, however, is not the case. The drink is high in nutrients, good for your immunity, and keeps you hydrated. But, once again, the drink cannot perform any miracles in terms of fat burning.
