4 New Cars Launching in India in the Next 5 Weeks

Last year brought some exciting developments in the automobile industry, and this year seems equally promising with several new vehicles ready to hit the Indian market. We’ll take a look at four cars set to launch in the next few weeks from renowned brands like Maruti Suzuki, Mahindra, Jeep, and Force.

Mahindra XUV 3XO: The Mahindra XUV300, while promising, lacked significant updates over the past five years, causing it to lose traction in the market. However, Mahindra seems to be rectifying this with the upcoming XUV 3XO. Although not a complete generational overhaul, the 3XO boasts significant upgrades, including revamped front and rear fascias for a more modern look. Interior features have also received a substantial update to stay competitive. While the engines remain unchanged, there are rumors of a switch from the AMT to a more reliable Torque Converter unit for automatic transmissions. These improvements are expected to boost sales and rejuvenate interest in the XUV300.

New Gen Maruti Suzuki Swift: The new-generation Maruti Suzuki Swift, already launched in Japan, is poised to make its debut in India soon. Enthusiasts eagerly anticipate the arrival of this beloved hatchback. The new Swift features a refreshed interior inspired by the Fronx, with subtle yet noteworthy changes to the exterior design. Powering the new Swift is expected to be a new 1.2-liter 3-cylinder NA petrol engine, replacing the older 4-cylinder unit. Transmission options will likely include the existing 5-speed manual and AMT variants, with rumors of hybrid options to be confirmed upon its Indian launch.

Jeep Wrangler Facelift: Jeep India recently unveiled plans for its upcoming lineup, including a facelift for the iconic Wrangler. The refreshed Wrangler sports a sleeker, blacked-out grille and 17-inch wheels with rugged off-road tires. Interior upgrades include a new 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with connected tech features. While the powertrain options are expected to remain unchanged, the Wrangler Facelift promises improved connectivity and comfort features.

5-Door Force Gurkha: Force Motors is gearing up to launch the 5-door version of the Gurkha, alongside updates to the existing 3-door model. Teasers reveal an all-digital instrument cluster with a TPMS system and a new touchscreen infotainment system with wireless smartphone connectivity. The 5-door variant will offer a spacious 7-seat configuration, based on the same ladder frame chassis as its predecessor but with an extended wheelbase. Powering the Gurkha will likely be the same reliable 2.6-liter Mercedes-Benz sourced diesel engine, albeit with enhancements to handle the additional load.

These upcoming car launches are sure to stir excitement among automobile enthusiasts and consumers alike, offering innovative features and improved performance in the ever-evolving Indian automotive market.
