Rahul Gandhi Slams Central Government

The central government  is “lying” and “unwilling to compensate” the families of over 700 farmers who died during the months-long protest against the farm laws said  Congress MP Rahul Gandhi .

Rahul slammed the centre for  they have no data on the number of farmers who died during the agitation.

“We would like to tell the government we have done some homework for them. We have here a list of 500-odd farmers whose families we (the Punjab government) have compensated with ₹ 5 lakh. We have also given jobs to 152 family members and are in the process of giving jobs to others,”

“The government says it does not have a list… Here it is… we have names, numbers, addresses…” said Mr Gandhi
