Audi Achieves Remarkable 88% Surge in India Retail Sales from January to September

Luxury carmaker Audi India has reported a remarkable 88% year-on-year increase in retail sales, selling 5,530 units between January and September this year, compared to 2,947 units during the same period last year. This surge in sales can be attributed to the successful launch of new models, including the Q8 e-tron, Q8 Sportback e-tron, Q3, and Q3 Sportback. Additionally, continued demand for popular models such as the A4, A6, and Q5 has significantly contributed to Audi’s positive growth in the Indian market.

Audi India’s Head, Balbir Singh Dhillon, noted that their SUV lineup, in particular, experienced an outstanding growth of 187%. He expressed confidence in the sustained demand, especially with the upcoming festive season, and emphasized the brand’s commitment to a sustainable and profitable business strategy. Dhillon reiterated Audi India’s expectation to conclude the year with high double-digit growth, underscoring the brand’s strong position in the luxury car segment amidst evolving market dynamics and favorable economic conditions.
