PM Kisan’s tenth instalment will be released on January 1: Here’s the straight URL to see if your name is on the list of beneficiaries

The disbursement of the 10th payment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) is just around the corner. There had been a lot of discussion about the date of disbursement, which has now been confirmed as January 1.

Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Narendra Tomar has sent a message telling eligible farmers that Rs 2,000 will be remitted to their accounts under the PM KISAN plan on January 1, 2022. According to the message conveyed to farmers, Prime Minister Narendra Modi would release the second tranche of the PM Kisan Yojana on January 1, 2022, as well as equity grants to farmer producer associations. Farmers can participate in this program by going to pmindiawbcast.nic.in or Doordarshan.

The PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme offers farmers with an annual cash transfer of Rs 6000 in three equal instalments. The first instalment is between April and July, the second between August and November, and the third between December and March.

On the right hand side, you will see Farmers Corner

Click Farmers Corner

Now from the option, click Beneficiary Status

You will have to furnish a few details like your Aadhaar number, bank account and your mobile number to see your status

After you complete the above procedure, you will find your name if it is there in the list

How to Verify Your Name in PM KISAN Using a Mobile App
To check your name through mobile app, first download the PM Kisan Mobile App. You will have access to all of the information once you have downloaded the App.

Is the PM-KISAN Scheme solely for the families of Small and Marginal Farmers?
When the PM-KISAN Scheme was first introduced (in February 2019), its benefits were limited to Small and Marginal Farmers’ families with a total landholding of up to 2 hectares. The Scheme was later updated in June 2019 and expanded to include all farmer families, regardless of landholding size.

Who is not eligible for the PM-KISAN Scheme?
Institutional landholders, farmer families holding constitutional posts, serving or retired officers and employees of State or Central government, as well as Public Sector Undertakings and Government Autonomous Bodies, are excluded from the PM-KISAN. Professionals like as doctors, engineers, and lawyers, as well as retired pensioners with a monthly pension of more than Rs 10,000 and those who paid income tax in the previous fiscal year, are not eligible for the benefits.
