Kriti Sanon completes 7 years in Bollywood: I got the feeling that was accepted from the very beginning
Yesterday (May 23, 2021) actress Kriti Sanon completed seven years in Bollywood. The beautiful actress made her Bollywood debut opposite Tiger Shroff with Sabbir Khan’s Heropanti and since then she has always received love from her legion of fans.
Recently in Tete-a-Tete, a leading daily was asked Kriti how she looked back on her journey in the film industry, she said she saw her journey as ‘extremely special.
She explained, “I come from a simple, middle-class family – my mother is a professor, my father is a chartered accountant. I’m an engineer and I never thought acting would be my profession. I’m here today knowing that acting is something that excites me. It gives me satisfaction and peace and is something that keeps me going.
Initially, my relatives and friends told me that Bollywood is a very big dream to follow and there are a lot of people who want to be in this industry. So, I feel lucky to have opportunities to come this far and live my dream,” the Dilwale actress added.
When asked if Bollywood welcomed her enough, she said she never worked to gain Bollywood acceptance. She insisted that she only wanted to get opportunities and work with directors of her own accord.
Yes, you need people who believe in you, I am lucky to have people like Sajid Nadiadwala, Dinesh Vijan, Ashwini Iyer Tiwari, Nitesh Tiwari and Ashutosh Gowarikar who showed faith in me and it made me do better. I felt accepted from the very beginning, but it took me a while to find my place in the industry,” Sanon said.
