When Rubina Dilaik was cheated by her producer, forced to sell house

New Delhi: Rubina Dilaik, who won Bigg Boss 14 last year, has spoken out about being duped by a producer and having to sell two of her homes to cover her EMIs and other expenses. In an interview, the actress described the harrowing ordeal in great detail, recalling having to give up her dream home in Mumbai.

According to Bollywood Bubble, “In 2011, my uplinks were worth 16 lakhs. And, to be honest, none of the events occurred. There were a total of nine such events written. That event was recorded in the ledger, and the amount deducted for the two-hour delay in the shoot totaled nearly Rs. 1.45 lakhs. So I’ve paid for everything out of my own pocket.”

Rubina went on to say, “In the city of dreams, I have my very own home. I had two houses at the time, which I had to sell because I had fallen behind on my payments. My EMIs were way behind schedule. My car was sold. Since then, I’ve decided that no Mercedes or BMWs are necessary. I don’t want to live in a state of constant fear, insecurity, and anxiety.”
