From the skin to the hair, these potent essential oils can work wonders for your health

Most people underestimate the power and applications of essential oils. Essential oils are not only highly therapeutic, but they can also be used for a variety of beauty treatments. They are frequently used when teaching aromatherapy meditation to corporations, but they can also be found in a variety of beauty potions.

The most important thing to remember is that all essential oils require a carrier oil, which means you can massage the essential oils into your skin with a heavy oil because they cannot be used directly. Carrier oils include coconut, almond, sesame, castor, and even rice bran oil. Let’s start with some basic skin issues and how to treat them with essential oils.

  • Tea tree oil to get rid of pimples and acne: Take about 2 drops of Tea Tree oil and mix it with 1 tsp of Fuller’s Earth (multani mitti) and some spring water. Make a smooth paste and apply this on acne and pimples on the face. This oil naturally kills bacteria that leads to pimples.
  • Rose Hip Oil to Rejuvenate Dull Skin: Mix 2 tsp almond oil with 2 drops Rose Hip oil and massage into the skin to see the most amazing and rejuvenated skin in no time. Because it contains Vitamin C and Lycopene, it simply wakes up the skin.
  • Jasmine oil to fade stretch marks: If you have stretch marks and loose skin that has lost its elasticity, massage your skin with a mixture of coconut oil and Jasmine oil. Take about 50ml of pure coconut oil and combine it with 5 drops of Jasmine oil. Stretch marks will fade with continued use.
  • Ylang Ylang Oil to nourish and fight hair thinning: If you have damaged or parched hair that is thinning and needs nourishment, I recommend massaging it with castor oil mixed with 4-5 drops of Ylang Ylang oil. This also promotes hair growth and thickness. It is also known to protect the hair from chlorine and salt water.
  • Most people are hesitant to begin using aromatherapy oils, but once you do, you can’t go wrong. There are a lot of low-quality essential oils on the market, so be cautious when purchasing them for home-use packs and peels. Good quality essential oils may be a little more expensive, but it is preferable to buy pure essential oils that you will eventually use on your face and hair.
