It’s not overwhelming to know that Srinath Rajendran , director of the movie try to humanize this story of a fugitive, he almost became a heroic figure among people even though film presents Kurup with all his flaws and enables us to see him as this man with no ethics whatsoever.

Dulquer Salman plays Kurup effortlessly.  Kurup’s character is shown in a stylish way with charisma and it’s understandable that these things are needed when it comes to commercial cinema. Thankfully, it doesn’t go overboard. They recreated the period portion – the 70s, 80s and 90s – beautifully in storytelling and it helped in setting up the mood of the film. The narrative is also strongly elevated by the brilliant background score by Sushin Shyam.
