With the Omicron threat rising , Kerala government has decided to impose night curfew from December 30. The night curfew will be from 10 pm to 5 am will be in effect till January 2.
This decision was taken at a meeting of senior officials held to review the Covid-19 situation in the state.
During curfew days shops in Kerala will be asked to close by 10 pm. Public gatherings and unnecessary travel will be restricted.
Bars, hotels, clubs and restaurants must close past 10 pm on December 31.
Beaches, shopping malls, public parks and other tourist destinations in Kerala will also be under strict observation.
