Ayodhya to Host International Kite Festival Ahead of Ram Temple Consecration

The Uttar Pradesh government is gearing up to host an International Kite Festival in Ayodhya from January 19 to 21, serving as a prelude to the highly anticipated Ram Temple consecration ceremony scheduled for January 22. This grand event is set to attract renowned kite flyers from across the globe, and preparations are underway by the Ayodhya Development Authority (ADA). The ADA has invited applications for the appointment of a private agency responsible for conceptualizing, designing, executing, and supervising the festival. With a designated visitors’ area for 750 people, including a VVIP lounge for 50 special invitees, the festival promises to be a dazzling celebration, offering attendees not only the thrill of kite flying but also the chance to indulge in millet and Awadhi cuisine.

To ensure a seamless and visually stunning experience, the selected agency will play a pivotal role in managing the intricate details of the event. The International Kite Festival in Ayodhya aims to blend tradition and modernity, creating a vibrant atmosphere in the sacred city just before the historic Ram Temple consecration ceremony. This cultural extravaganza, coupled with the culinary delights on offer, is poised to make the festival a memorable and delightful experience for participants and attendees alike.
