Conspiracy case: Crime Branch requests court to send Dileep’s phones for scientific examination

The Crime Branch team requests court to send Dileep’s phones for scientific examination in the conspiracy case. The crime branch who is in charge of the case submitted a plea regarding this at Aluva magistrate court on Wednesday. The petition urges the court to undertake proceedings to send the phones to a cyber forensic lab for scientific scrutiny.

The phones submitted by Dileep at the court will not be handed over to the investigation team. Instead, the court will send all the phones directly to the Forensic Science Laboratory, along with the letter of the Crime Branch. The High Court had ordered the registrar to hand over the six mobile phones to Aluva magistrate court. Dileep had submitted these phones before the HC. The mobile phones were handed over to the magistrate court by 7.30 pm on Tuesday. Following this, the Crime Branch requested the magistrate court to send the phones for scientific examination.
