Kerala revises norms, No quarantine for international travellers without symptoms

Kerala government has revised the rules for overseas travellers in the Covid review meet here on Friday. The government has informed that only those international travellers who have Covid-19 symptoms need to undergo testing. Similarly, only those with symptoms need to observe 7-day mandatory quarantine.

Hence, the RT-PCR test and 7-days compulsory quarantine will not be mandatory for all returning from foreign countries.
In the review meeting, the panel of experts also approved the suggestion to revoke the mandate of compulsory RT-PCR test for international travellers after eight days of arrival. The government also restricted charging high prices for COVID tests at airports.
