Two killed after car rams into a lorry in Kottayam

Two youths were killed after a car lost control and rammed into a lorry in Kottayam here on Tuesday. The deceased have been identified as Manoj and Kuttan, natives of Adoor in Pathanamthitta. The accident took place around 5.30 am on Tuesday. The deceased men were on the way home after dropping off a relative at the airport.

At Monipally, the car rammed into the Torres lorry after losing control. Both passengers in the car died on the spot. Kuravilangad police and fire force unit reached the spot after the locals informed them. Soman, the driver of the Torres lorry, was also injured. He has been shifted to Kottayam Medical College.
