Kerala records highest spike of 94 fresh COVID-19 cases, 3 deaths on a single day

Kerala recorded 94 new cases of COVID-19 on Thursday while 39 tested negatives, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said while speaking to the media after a coronavirus review meeting here. Three COVID deaths also were reported. 47 persons arrived from aborad were confirmed positive for COVID -19.

47 among the disease confirmed persons returned from abroad while 37 returned from other states. Seven people contracted the disease through contact. 23 people returned from Maharasthra tested positive for COVID while 8 from Tamil Nadu, 3 from Delhi, 2 from Gujarat and 1 from Rajasthan also were confirmed with the disease. Out of the 39 negative cases, 13 are from Palakkad, 8 from Malappuram, 7 from Kannur, 5 from Kozhikode, 2 each from Thrissur and Wayanad and 1 each from Thiruvananthapuram and Pathanamthitta.
