Ronaldo removes Coca-Cola bottles at press conference

Cristiano Ronaldo does not appear to be a fan of carbonated soft drinks. At Monday’s Euro 2020 press conference, the Portugal captain removed two bottles of Coca-Cola kept in front of him, encouraging people to drink water instead.

As he sat down to speak to the media ahead of Tuesday’s Group F opener against Hungary, the 36-year-old pushed the cola bottles aside.

He then held up a bottle of water and shouted in Portuguese, ‘Agua!’

Coca-Cola, one of Euro 2020’s official sponsors, could not be reached for comment immediately.
