Spicy chicken cashew korma recipe

The perfect combination of chicken cashew korma with rice and roti makes your dinner special. Have a look at it.


chicken breast- 1.5 kg
cashew nuts- 115 g
Onions- 2 large
Ginger- 1 tsp
cumin seeds- ½ tsp
Coriander powder- 2 tbsp
Cumin – 1 tbsp
chilli powder- 1 tsp
Garlic- 4 cloves
sunflower oil- 3 tbsp
Salt, black pepper – as needed
cream- 4 tbsp
Coriander- a handful

Method of Preparation
Heat the oil in a saucepan. Add the chopped onions, and ginger and fry for 3-4 minutes. Add cumin seeds, coriander, cumin, and chilli powder and fry until aromatic. Mix in the chopped garlic and fry. Add the chicken pieces, and cashew nuts and allow the chicken to brown slightly. Keep it in a medium flame. Add salt and black pepper. Slowly cover with boiling water. Reduce the heat and cook for 15 minutes. Mix in the double cream and cook for 4-5 minutes until the sauce has thickened. Sprinkle over the chopped fresh coriander and cashew and serve hot.
