KSRTC marks record collection on Monday; revenue crosses Rs 8 cr

The KSRTC marks a record high in its daily revenue collection on Monday. As per the reports, KSRTC earned Rs 8.4 cr on September 12, Monday which was the first working day after the Onam holidays. A total of 3,941 buses were operated service on this date.

Out of the total revenue, South Zone, Central Zone and North Zone collected Rs 3.13 crore, Rs 2.88 crore and Rs 2.39 crore respectively. The Kozhikode district has topped the list with Rs 59.22 lakh. Kozhikode unit has earned the highest target of 33.02 per cent in the revenue collection.

Meanwhile, Thiruvananthapuram central depot has recorded the highest revenue collection in the state. As per the reports, KSRTC Swift earned Rs 37 lakh on September 12. KSRTC CMD congratulated the staff members for their cooperation in earning record revenue.
