Pancreatic Cancer: signs and symptoms of the fatal disease

Pancreatic cancer develops from the cells of a digestive organ called the pancreas. Cancer originating from the endocrine pancreas is called the pancreatic neuroendocrine tumour and cancer originating from the exocrine pancreas are islet cancer. The second type is rare and grows slowly when compared to endocrine pancreatic cancers.

Early signs of pancreatic cancer:

Unexplained weight loss
Appetite loss
Abdominal pain that radiates to your back
Loss of appetite or unintended weight loss
Yellowing of your skin and the whites of your eyes (jaundice)
Light-coloured stools
Dark-coloured urine
Itchy skin
Blood clots
Fatigue
