Man kills lover, throws chopped body parts at several locations; probes on

A cold-blooded murder happened in Rajasthan’s Nagaur, a man reportedly killed his married girlfriend who was allegedly forcing him to marry her. Police probed the accused who confessed to committing the crime. Police swung into action after relatives of the deceased filed a missing complaint. The accused dismembered body parts of the woman, identified as Guddi, which is still being recovered even 25 days after the alleged crime.

The accused, Anoparam, told police that he had thrown the victim’s body parts in a well near Derva village. A rescue operation was carried out in the Sune well for three days by the SDRF and NDRF teams. Drone cameras were also inducted at the time of searches to locate the victim’s body parts.

The victim was a married woman from Balasar village in the Sri Balaji Police Station area of Nagaur district and on January 20, she left her maternal home saying that she would go to her in-laws’ place in Mundasar. Upon being contacted, her mobile phone was switched off around 3:30 pm.

On January 22, her relatives lodged a missing complaint at Shri Balaji police station and on January 28, the woman’s clothes, hair, jaw etc were found in bushes behind Kendriya Vidyalaya located on Malwa Road in Nagaur city. The relatives were asked to reach the police station and identify her apparel, which was drenched in blood stains. It was only after they confirmed Guddi’s clothes that a murder case was registered and a probe was launched.
