Australia won the Women’s T20 World Cup by 19 runs in the final at Newlands.
Chasing 157 to win, the hosts were dismissed for 137-6 despite a top score of 61 from opener Laura Wolvaardt. Opening batter Beth Mooney anchored the Australian innings of 156-6 with an unbeaten 74.
