Today is the last day to submit to receive Rs 1,600 per month!
February 28 is the last date to submit the income certificate to receive the Sevana Social Welfare Pension. If the person fails to submit the document they will not be eligible for a pension. Further, the beneficiaries will not receive dues even if they produce the certificate in future.
The state government reveals that around 10 lakh people are yet to submit the documents. Under the Sevana Social Welfare Pension, the state government provides Agricultural Labour Pension, Old Age Pension, Disability Pension, Unmarried Women pension and Widow Pension Schemes.
Rs 1,600 per month is distributed to those with an annual income of less than Rs 1 lakh. Last September, the state government issued an order directing beneficiaries under the scheme to produce income certificates.
