Ohio Shooting Incident Leaves 10 Wounded

A shooting in Columbus, Ohio, early Sunday morning has left up to 10 people injured. Police arrived at the scene in the Short North area of the city at 2:28 am local time and initially found six victims. Four additional victims were later reported to have been taken to hospitals, according to the Columbus Police Department, as cited by USA Today.

The injured were transported to three different hospitals for treatment. One man is reported to be in critical condition, while all other victims, including two young people and several adults, are expected to recover, according to NBC4 and Columbus Dispatch.

Police are currently searching for a vehicle believed to be involved in the shooting. The Columbus Division of Police has described the vehicle as a white, 4-door Honda Civic with tinted windows. They have provided contact numbers for anyone with information about the incident.

In a separate incident in Louisville, Kentucky, one person died and seven others were injured in a shooting outside a nightclub on Saturday night. According to the Louisville Police Metro Department, first responders found two people with gunshot wounds outside the H20 Lounge at 12:47 am. One man later died, and another victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition. Six more adults sought medical help after the shooting, with all injuries believed to be non-life-threatening.

The Louisville police have not provided information about the suspect(s) or the circumstances surrounding the shooting, stating that the relationship of the victims, if any, is not known at this time and the shooting is currently under investigation.
