Special Alert Issued for Kasaragod, Kannur, and Thiruvananthapuram Coasts

The National Ocean Status Research Centre (INCOIS) has issued a special alert for the coasts of Kasaragod, Kannur, and Thiruvananthapuram districts, warning of potential high tide waves and sea agitation from 11:30 pm on Sunday.

Bad weather and winds up to 55 km/h in Lakshadweep, Maldives area, South Bay of Bengal, Central Bay of Bengal, and Andaman Sea.

June 27:

Strong winds at 45-55 km/h, potentially reaching 65 km/h in the Gulf of Mannar.

Bad weather conditions with winds up to 55 km/h in Lakshadweep, Maldives area, South Bay of Bengal, Central Bay of Bengal, and North Andaman Sea.

Fishing activities are strongly discouraged during these dates in the specified areas due to the anticipated severe weather conditions.
