Millions of Indians must be eagerly anticipating the arrival of the Apple iPhone 13. Apple usually releases the latest iPhone model in September. Similarly, Apple is likely to unveil the iPhone at one of its major events in September 2021.
Features of Apple iPhone 13
The Apple iPhone 13 is expected to be powered by an A15 chipset manufactured using the TSMC 5nm process. According to a TrendForce analysis, the iPhone 13 will be 30% more efficient and over 20% smarter than Apple’s iPhone 12 series handsets in terms of performance. The A14 Bionic chipset, which was only released last year, powers the iPhone 12 series handsets.
Meanwhile, the iPhone 13 series, most likely for the ‘Pro’ models of the yet-to-be-released handset, could use a Samsung LTPO screen. The panels are likely to have a 120Hz refresh rate, which will be the first time an Apple iPhone screen has a refresh rate higher than 60Hz.
Unlock iPhones while wearing a face mask
The upcoming iPhone 13 could include a face unlock feature that allows the device to be unlocked even when the owner is wearing a face mask. Separately, the smartphone includes a fingerprint sensor that will work alongside the Face ID feature.
No 1TB variant
The TrendForce report also refuted any claims that the iPhone 13 will be available in a 1TB variant. As a result of the lack of a 1TB variant, the iPhone 13 is expected to have a maximum storage capacity of 256GB.
Apple iPhone 13 price
The Apple iPhone 13 is expected to be priced similarly to the iPhone 12 series, which debuted at a starting price of $699. The price of the iPhone 13 Pro variants could rise to $1099.
