The new Hyundai i20 will come with three engine options. These include 1.2-litre petrol with 81.8bhp power, 1.5-litre diesel engine with 100bhp power, and 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine with 100bhp power. A 6-speed manual gearbox will be standard with all three engines. There will also be options for AMT with 1.2-litre petrol and 7-speed DCT automatic gearbox with a 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine.

The new Hyundai i20 will get a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Apart from this, features such as Hyundai’s connected car technology BlueLink, Wireless Smartphone Charger, Ambient Lighting, Key-Lace Entry & Go, and Bose Premium Sound System are also provided. The new car will also get LED DRLs, LED taillamps, rain-sensing wipers, 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, and roof-integrated spoiler.

In terms of security, the new i20 will get brand new features. The car has features like 6-airbags, ABS, EBD, rear parking sensors, and a rearview camera.

The new-generation Hyundai i20 may launch in the Indian market in September. Its launch has been postponed in view of the coronavirus epidemic. Earlier, the company had planned to launch this new car in June. However, the company has still not officially announced its launch date. The 2020 Hyundai i20 will compete with cars such as Maruti Baleno, Tata Altroz ​​, and Honda Jazz in the Indian market.

The new Hyundai i20 will get a new look, premium interior, and new powertrain. Because of this, the price of the new car is expected to increase compared to the current model. Right now the price of i20 starts from 5.60 lakhs which goes up to Rs 9.41 lakhs. The new Hyundai i20 can be priced between Rs 6 lakh and Rs 10.50 lakh.
