The army fires on two drones found hovering over the military areas of Ratnuchak and Kaluchak.

Jammu: A defence spokesperson said on Monday that alert Army troops fired at two drones found hovering over the Ratnuchak-Kaluchak military areas, a day after two drones dropped bombs on an IAF station.

According to officials, one drone was spotted at 11.45 p.m. on Sunday and the other at 2.40 a.m. on Monday. After alert sentries fired at them, both drones “flew away.”

According to him, a high alert was immediately issued, and Quick Reaction Teams engaged the drones with fire. Lt Col Devender Anand, a Jammu-based Army PRO, said in a statement.

Official sources previously stated that when the sentries noticed the drones, they immediately opened fire in order to bring them down.

According to them, the entire area outside the military station was immediately cordoned off, and a massive search operation was underway when the last reports were received.

According to the sources, nothing objectionable was discovered on the ground.

The latest incident occurs just a day after a drone dropped two bombs at an Indian Air Force (IAF) station here, causing minor injuries to two personnel.
