Onam Special Train Arranged for Kerala: Boosting Festive Travel

Special train allowed to Kerala for Onam. The state government’s representative in Delhi, Professor KV Thomas, played a significant role in securing the approval by writing to Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav.

The Panvel-Nagarkovil special train is scheduled to operate from Nagercoil to Panvel on the 22nd and from Panvel to Nagercoil on the 24th of this month. Kerala will benefit from a total of three services until September 7, with an equivalent number of return services.

In addition to this, KV Thomas has formally requested the Union Railway Minister to introduce special train services connecting Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Kolkata, Hyderabad, and Mumbai.
