Unexpected Surge in Gold Prices Takes Market by Surprise

The state has witnessed a sudden surge in gold prices today, with an increase of 440 rupees. Currently, the cost of one pavan of gold stands at Rs 53,640, marking a rise in the price of one gram to Rs 6,983. This jump contrasts with the previous day’s rate of Rs 53,200 per pavan. Earlier this month, gold prices surpassed the fifty-thousand mark, hitting a low of Rs 50,680 per pavan on April 2. However, silver prices have remained relatively stable during this period.
