Complaint Filed Against Rahul Gandhi for Alleged ‘Blown Kiss’ Gesture Towards Women MPs

New Delhi: Smriti Irani, Union Minister, has claimed that Rahul Gandhi, Congress leader and Wayanad MP, made a blowing kiss gesture. The allegation suggests that Rahul Gandhi sent an air kiss to female MPs while exiting the Lok Sabha after his speech.

Female MPs from the BJP submitted a formal complaint to the Speaker regarding this matter. This incident occurred during Rahul Gandhi’s first speech since his reinstatement as an MP. He left the session early to attend an event in Rajasthan at 3 pm.

Subsequently, Smriti Irani criticized the no-confidence motion, although she did not directly mention Rahul Gandhi’s name. The minister stated, “The individual who spoke before me exhibited inappropriate behavior. Only someone with a disrespectful attitude towards women would send flying kisses to female parliamentarians.”

Meanwhile, Rahul Gandhi strongly criticized the Modi Government in his speech. He accused the BJP of not safeguarding Bharat Mata (Mother India) but instead being responsible for harm. Rahul emphasized that Modi should be prepared to heed the voice of India, and he questioned whose voice would be more significant than that of the nation.

Rahul also mentioned his recent visit to Manipur, asserting that Modi had not visited the state yet, implying a lack of consideration for it as part of India. He further asserted that the government’s actions had led to harm in Manipur, likening it to a betrayal of Bharat Mata.
