Amitabh Bachchan Acquires Land in Ayodhya for Luxurious Hotel Near Ram Temple

Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan has made headlines by purchasing land in the sacred city of Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, as the consecration ceremony of the Ram temple approaches on January 22. The actor reportedly acquired a 10,000-square-foot plot in Seven Star Enclave, Ayodhya, with speculation suggesting a cost of 14.5 crore rupees. The strategic location, just 15 minutes from the Ram temple and half an hour from the airport, has fueled rumors of a grand five-star palace hotel on the property.

While there is no official confirmation regarding the size and cost of the land, insiders suggest that Bachchan’s investment aligns with his desire to build a hotel named ‘Sarayu’ on the site. The inauguration is expected to coincide with the consecration of the Ram temple. Sources reveal that the renowned Mumbai-based firm ‘The House of Abhinandan Lodha’ will undertake the construction, aiming to complete the project by March 2028.

Amitabh Bachchan expressed his emotional connection to Ayodhya, stating that the timeless spirituality and cultural richness of the city make it special beyond geographical boundaries. The actor’s vision for a luxury hotel in Ayodhya reflects the seamless blend of tradition and modernity. Abhinandan Lodha, Chairman of The House of Abhinandan Lodha, emphasized Bachchan’s significance as the “first citizen of Ayodhya Sarayu.” Bachchan, born in Prayagraj, just four hours away from Ayodhya, has expressed his eagerness to embark on a heartwarming journey into the soul of Ayodhya, shaping his unique connection with the global spiritual capital.
