Man accused of killing Sikh family in the US robbed another family 17 years ago

The man, accused of kidnapping and then killing four members of a Sikh family in the United States earlier this week, was also arrested 17 years ago for robbing a family he then used to work for. According to reports, the accused, identified as Jesus Salgado, robbed the family at gun point and even terrorised them.

As per the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, Salgado was sentenced to 17 years in 2007 and was released in 2015 and discharged from parole three years later. Recently, Salgado was arrested for kidnapping and killing a Sikh family, including 36-year-old Jasdeep Singh, his wife Jasleen Kaur (27), Amandeep Singh (39) and an eight-month-old girl, Aroohi Dheri. The family hailed from Punjab’s Hoshiarpur. The family-owned a truck business in California. The bodies of the four victims were found in a remote area near the town of Dos Palos in California on Wednesday.
