Conclusion of Kottikalasam Campaign in Puthupally; Candidates Make Final Push for Votes

The advertising campaign in Puthupally will conclude today, with candidates making their last efforts to secure votes. All candidates will embark on a constituency-wide vehicle tour today, and in the evening, Pampadi will witness the culmination of advertising campaigns from all three political fronts. A silent campaign will follow tomorrow.

This by-election became necessary following the passing of Oommen Chandy, who had represented Puthupally for an impressive 53 years. During the by-election campaign, various issues were discussed, including the development of Puthupally and the government’s performance.

Puthupally Constituency comprises 1,75,605 voters, including 89,897 females, 85,705 males, 6,376 voters aged above 80, and 1,765 differently-abled voters. Additionally, there are 181 non-resident voters and 138 service voters, with 182 polling stations set up. The election is scheduled for September 5, with vote counting taking place at eight locations.
