Railway Services in Kerala Undergo Major Regulation for Track Maintenance: Details

The Railways has announced a significant regulation of train services in Kerala from January 6 to 31 due to track maintenance activities under the Thiruvananthapuram division. Various train services will experience changes in their schedules and routes during this period. The Mangalore Central – Thiruvananthapuram Central Express, Dhanbad Junction – Alappuzha Express, Hazrat Nizamuddin Junction – Thiruvananthapuram Central Weekly Superfast Express, and several other trains will be regulated, with adjustments in departure times and routes. Additionally, some trains like Lokmanya Tilak Terminus – Thiruvananthapuram Central Netravathi Express and others will be diverted via Kottayam, skipping certain stations.

The regulation is essential for carrying out track maintenance at various locations, ensuring the safety and efficiency of railway operations. Passengers are advised to check the revised schedules and plan their journeys accordingly.
