The Kerala State Disaster Management Authority (KSDMA) has issued warnings, advising people to exercise caution, wear loose clothing, and stay hydrated. Specifically, the KSDMA cautions against outdoor activities during the afternoon and recommends avoiding prolonged sun exposure to prevent health issues like sunstroke, sunburn, and dehydration.

The Indian Meteorological Department predicts temperatures reaching up to 38 degrees in Kollam, Kottayam, Thrissur, and Palakkad, 37 degrees in Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, and Kannur, and 36 degrees in Kasaragod. Notably, night temperatures are also on the rise, ranging between 28 to 30 degrees in various locations across the state.
