Rahul Gandhi Criticizes PM Modi, Claims He Is “Psychologically Broken”

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi sharply criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi, describing him as “psychologically broken” and struggling to run the government. During a media briefing in New Delhi, Rahul suggested that the government’s silence on exam paper leaks indicates the Prime Minister’s incapacity. “The PM’s main agenda now is the election of the Speaker. He is more concerned about his government and the Speaker,” Rahul stated. “The PM has psychologically collapsed and will struggle to govern. Modi’s approach to governance, based on instilling fear, is no longer effective as people are not scared of him anymore.”

Rahul also contrasted Modi’s alleged inability to prevent exam paper leaks with claims of his involvement in global conflicts. “It was said that Prime Minister Modi stopped the Ukraine-Russia War and the Israel-Gaza war, but he either cannot or does not want to stop exam paper leaks,” he remarked. Drawing from his experiences during the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra, Rahul mentioned that many students across the country had expressed concerns about paper leaks, comparing the situation to the Vyapam scam in Madhya Pradesh and suggesting a nationwide issue.

Emphasizing the need for standardized rules in all exams, Rahul criticized arbitrary decision-making and announced the Opposition’s intention to raise the exam paper leak issue in Parliament. He accused the BJP of undermining educational institutions’ independence and objectivity, calling for fair and transparent handling of the NEET issue and strict action against those guilty of malpractice to restore integrity in the education system.

The controversy over alleged irregularities in the NEET medical entrance exam has escalated, leading the Supreme Court to take up the matter. In response to concerns about compromised integrity, the Union education ministry canceled the UGC-NET exam and handed the investigation over to the CBI.
