SBI Launches MSME Sahaj: Instant 15-Minute Loans for Small Businesses

State Bank of India (SBI) has launched MSME Sahaj, a web-based digital business loan service for small enterprises (MSMEs). This service offers invoice financing within just 15 minutes through an information-based assessment process.

The entire process, including loan application, documentation, approval, disbursement, and closure, is conducted digitally without human intervention. Loans of up to Rs. 1 lakh can be availed based on GST invoices.

The loan evaluation utilizes GSTIN, customer bank statements, and the CIC database. Existing SBI customers can access this service through the Yono app. SBI Chairman Dinesh Khara stated that MSME Sahaj aims to provide quick and easy loans to small enterprises.
