Revised Dates Announced for Postponed NEET-PG Exams

The National Board of Examinations (NBE) has rescheduled the NEET-PG exams, originally postponed due to irregularities, to August 11. The exams, initially set for June 23, were delayed following the detection of significant issues. The upcoming exams will be held in two shifts, with over 1.75 lakh students expected to participate. NBE has assured that all security loopholes will be addressed to ensure a safe and fair examination process.

In related news, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) made a significant breakthrough in the NEET-UG question paper leak case. Aman Singh, the mastermind behind the leak, was arrested in Dhanbad, Jharkhand. This marks the seventh arrest in the ongoing investigation. Previous arrests include Hazaribagh school principal Isaan-ul-Haq and examination center superintendent Imtiaz Alam. The leak was traced back to a school in Hazaribagh, with both the principal and superintendent implicated. Additionally, Dikshit Patel, a private school owner from Godhra, Gujarat, was arrested for demanding Rs 10 lakh from 27 students to facilitate exam irregularities.

The CBI initiated this investigation following a complaint from the Union Ministry of Human Resource Development about the NEET UG question paper leak. The probe was necessitated by widespread allegations of irregularities during the May 5 examination, leading to the postponement of other exams conducted by the National Testing Agency.
