Prime Minister Narendra Modi Inaugurates Rs 4000 Crore Worth of Projects in Kerala

Prime Minister Narendra Modi marked a significant day in Kerala by inaugurating projects worth Rs 4000 crore in the state. The inauguration included the Ship Repair Center of Kochi Shipyard, the 2nd Dry dock, and the Indian Oil Corporation’s LPG imports terminal. Attended by Governor Arif Muhammad Khan and Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, the event was hailed as a development festival for the state. Chief Minister Vijayan expressed gratitude to the Prime Minister for personally inaugurating the projects, emphasizing the substantial contribution of “Made in Kerala” to the broader “Make in India” initiative. The new projects, particularly the Kochi Shipyard’s Dry Dock, are expected to play a crucial role in the nation’s development, reducing dependence on foreign countries for ship maintenance and facilitating job creation.
