Delhi High Court Notifies MS Dhoni of Defamation Suit by Former Business Partners

The Delhi High Court has directed its registry to notify former Team India cricket captain MS Dhoni about a defamation suit filed against him by his former business partners, Mihir Diwakar and Soumya Das. The plaintiffs seek a permanent injunction and damages against Dhoni, various social media platforms, and media houses, restraining them from making defamatory statements. Justice Prathiba M Singh was informed that Dhoni has not been served with the plea, prompting the court to direct the registry to issue an email notification to Dhoni and his representing law firm. The matter is scheduled for further hearing on January 29, with the plaintiffs instructed to file court fees within a week.
