Black Shark 2 : The gaming smartphone to be officially unveiled on March 18

Black Shark 2 – the next gaming smartphone from the eponymous Xiaomi-backed company – is all set to be officially unveiled on March 18, 2019.

Ahead of the launch, the company has released a pair of teaser posters which confirm that the Black Shark 2 will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC, ticking alongside a hefty 12GB of RAM. Moreover, registrations for the Black Shark 2 have gone live in China and they indicate that the upcoming smartphone will be available in three storage configurations.

Display and Configuration

The Xiaomi Black Shark 2 flaunts an AMOLED display having a screen of 6.01-inch and a resolution of 1,080 x 2,160 pixels and a pixel density of 402-PPI that can render an extremely sharp and bright videos quality. The performance of the device is based on the two quad-core Kryo 385 processors having a clock speed of 2.8GHz and 1.8GHz which are seated upon the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset. The combination is further assisted by an Adreno 630 GPU and a 6GB RAM that can provide lag-free multitasking.

Camera and Battery

The camera of the device is excellent with the dual rear setup having 12MP + 20MP sensors that will capture mesmerizing pictures which users will just love to flaunt. There is a 20MP front camera, which is, needless to say, has an excellent selfie and video calling quality.

The battery of the device is 4,000mAh Li-Polymer which can provide a long backup to keep the device active all through the day. There is a quick charging feature that will help users to get the device fill with power in a short time.
